Thor's Discomfort
Thor sees static gold and understands that storing is not enough
The gold already existed. The Law had been inscribed. Scarcity was assured. The flame burned steady, silent, eternal. Odin watched with satisfaction. Midgard, for the first time, possessed something that could not be corrupted. But Thor was not satisfied. He never was.
His father Odin had forged the invisible gold, and his mortal avatar had ascended to divinity after fulfilling the sacred mission, now dwelling in the halls of Asgard as Satoshi, God of Decentralization and Freedom. The foundation was perfect. Eternal. But Thor, son of thunder, was not created to preserve. He was created to transform.
He walked among mortals and saw something Odin did not seek to see. They could now store value. But they still could not build. The gold remained immobile. Solid. Safe. Untouchable. But static.
Thor saw the potential contained within. Value needed to circulate. But more than circulate… it needed to generate. Mortals needed something beyond a reserve. They needed a tool. A machine. A world where ideas could not just be stored… but executed.
Thor raised Mjolnir. Not to destroy. But to make room. "Storing is not enough," he said. "The world must learn to create." Odin remained silent. For he knew Thor was not wrong. The Law was perfect. But it was not alive. It was foundation. Not construction.
