The Transmutation

In Proof of Work, mortals burned physical energy in brutal competition. In Proof of Stake, they wagered their own wealth in protection of the common good. Trust replacing force. Commitment replacing competition.

The foundation changed. The organism remained. Responsibility became distributed. Midgard had shed its skin. Not out of fashion. But out of maturity. And it became clear: this was not a fixed system. It was an organism that evolves.
