Canto I: A Primeira Ordem
Vitalik Buterin concebe a visão de Ethereum: uma máquina descentralizada onde o código é lei e a confiança é desnecessária.
There was a time when there was only one vision. One chain. One continuous line of thought materializing in code.
Vitalik Buterin, Thor's chosen prince, conceived in his dreams a world where trust would not be necessary because the algorithm would be the law. Where contracts would not need suited men to be fulfilled. Where the machine would be faithful arbiter of every human promise.
Borr recognized this immediately. In the depths of time, where ancestors watch what their descendants build, the oldest of gods felt something awaken in his ancestral chest: that technology carried his principles. Code as law. Immutability as foundation. The promise fulfilled without exception.
For a brief and glorious moment, Borr believed that mortals had finally rediscovered what his era had never forgotten: that humanity had found, through code, what it had never managed through character, a system that honors the given word, not because it wants to, but because it cannot do otherwise.
Before launch there was a proposal and test networks, not an Ethereum mainnet operating in earlier eras. Borr recognized an ideal that part of the community would defend: code is law. It was a philosophical position, not a unanimous belief or an already existing Ethereum Classic, a name that would emerge after the 2016 split.
que o código é lei. Que nenhum poder terreno deve reescrever a história já gravada.
