The Priests of Proof
Miners offer real energy to sustain the invisible world
The Law was inscribed; scarcity followed its rhythm; the flame burned, but every eternal structure needs sustenance. Not by decree, but by offering. For that which demands no cost holds no weight, and the invisible gold demanded something no other system had ever demanded: real energy; Not promise, not trust, not signature, energy.
In the physical world, men built machines. They built halls that roar like ancient caverns. They wired cables that carry tamed lightning. They connected themselves to the invisible structure. And they began the ritual. Not with incense. Not with chants, but with computation.
Each attempt at proof was like a hammer blow upon reality. Each hash an offering. Each block found an altar completed. They do not ask for authorization. They do not ask for permission. They simply compete in proof. They offer energy, and the Law responds.
Only those who prove may add. Only those who offer real energy sustain the invisible world. Thus, the gold of Asgard does not float in abstraction. It is anchored in matter: In electricity, in heat, in effort.
Critics see consumption. Those who understand see sacrifice. Nothing truly valuable exists without cost. The priests of proof know this. They do not govern the network. They do not control the Law. They merely participate in the ritual that keeps it alive.
