The First Testimony
The first mortal touches the flame and confirms it is real
The mark had been left in time: the ark existed, the Law was active, but it still moved like a distant flame; visible only to those who knew where to look. It was necessary for a mortal to touch it. Not a king; not a priest; not a powerful man. Just someone willing to see.
Among millions, one approached. He did not receive visions. He did not hear Odin. He did not seek salvation. He sought truth; he saw the code; he read the scroll. And he understood something few understand: this did not depend on trust. It depended on proof.
He ran the system. And in doing so… he touched the flame. The first transfer occurred. Small, silent, almost invisible, but real. The invisible gold moved between two mortals. Not as promise; not as credit; not as debt. As existence.
And in that moment, Hal became a witness. Not because he received wealth, but because he confirmed: the flame burned outside the divine plan. It worked; it responded; it existed.
The gods watched. For every system needs human confirmation to move from vision into practice. Hal did not proclaim a miracle. He did not summon crowds. He simply remained: Running, validating. Believing before there was reason to believe.
The flame is real.
